A Modern Christmas

Work is in full swing and I'm having fun designing some new items for Christmas. I've never been one to create things so specific to any holiday, but when my friend asked me to embroider her kid's names on some stockings she bought from someone on Etsy I thought, I can do that. So I decided to make Christmas stockings with a colorful twist. I'm not much on tradition and kids love color so these are designed with a very modern twist. For now here are the fabrics I am using to create these stockings. 

I'm using various colors of corduroy with a fur trim and lining them in a coordinating quilter's cotton. Once I've assembled the samples I will post my new designs here before I post them on Etsy.
