A little warning: This post starts out a little gross. If you are really squeamish skip down to the pleasant photos below.
Meeko |
The past week has been a little rough. It was rough on me, but especially on my cat Meeko who came down with a Urinary Tract Infection. He is now banned to the 3 main rooms on the first floor of our house where, if he needs to, can lose control of his bladder on the tile or hardwood floor. The first few days after his vet visit he was doing better, then a few days later, worse. Last night was our 2nd vet visit where the doctor prescribed an even stronger anti-biotic and checked his urine for stones. Let me say this is not a pleasant experience to watch a kitty who is already in pain be stretched out and his bladder squeezed until his bladder is almost empty. The doctor did detect stones and asked us to keep a very close eye on him to make sure they don't block him from peeing completely. The urine will poison him causing death within just about a day.
So with my kitty constantly on my mind, and also trying to promote my store more, I decided to create a treasury list of all kinds of products to make our beloved pets looking fashionably fabulous. Here are a few of my favorites:
Winter Hats for Ferrets |
Custom Handmade Tutus for Chickens |
Turquoise Blue Tiara for Bunny |
I have to say my personal favorite is the bunny tiara, although the chicken tutu comes at a very close 2nd. Alora Designs also creates all kinds of cute little outfits for bunnies. Take a look at all of her little dresses and more tiaras at her shop.
Lastly how could I forget the humiliation I put my own cat through. Meeko in his monster costume. Although this one was not handmade (Target).
For the complete list of pet fashion visit my treasury list. There are items for dogs, birds, fish, reptiles, goats and horses. (Although the horse image disappeared. Hopefully they relist that item).
